Mamuka Djibuti is a public health and M&E expert with more than 20 years of experience in broad fields of public health including TB, HIV/AIDS and health systems strengthening. He has worked extensively in various countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East to provide M&E technical advice to TB, HIV/AIDS, HSS programs and projects, including the development, implementation, and appraisal of quality M&E systems including M&E plans and frameworks, methodologies and tools for data collection, data analysis, and quality assurance of program/project results data.

His areas of expertise also include survey and epidemiological research, qualitative research and operations research. He also has significant experience in program and staff management and supervision, team facilitation, grant management and administration. Mamuka earned his MD and PhD (general medicine/neurology/epidemiology) degrees from Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia.
