Max Meis is a senior consultant with 25 years of experience in Public Health and Infectious Disease Prevention and Control in The Netherlands and in more than 15 countries in Africa and Asia. He has experience in developing public health policies and HIV/TB programs with the aim of strengthening the overall healthcare system through integration of services, public private partnerships and performance based financing.

In January 2009 he joined KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation as TB Infection Control Officer for TB CAP and TB CARE I. In Challenge TB he provides technical assistance to countries in the planning and implementation of preventive services. In 2013 he was elected as Chair of the Stop TB Partnership TB Infection Control subgroup.
