Emmy is a medical doctor with 20 years of experience in specialized disease control programs (TB, leprosy and other Neglected Tropical Diseases) in Africa. She has experience in all aspects of TB control programs, specifically in program management, TB/HIV, M&E, capacity building, and mapping. Emmy enjoys working with Ministries of Health and different partner organizations in country.

Emmy has worked and lived in Nigeria (13 years), South Africa (1 year) and Ghana (5 years). In Ghana she worked as the Program Director of a Global Initiative, supporting Ministries of Health (in Africa and Asia) with mapping of routine surveillance data, developing integrated plans for case management of NTDs and implementation of integrated interventions.
